What Rightful Lives is about

Rightful Lives is a creative campaign for the human rights of people with learning disabilities and autistic people in Britain.

We started Rightful Lives because too many people with learning disabilities and autistic people were being treated badly in the health and social care system.

We wanted to find new ways to help politicians, policy makers, the media and public understand the terrible things that are happening to people with learning disabilities and autistic people and make them do something about it.

We use art, music, poetry, film, song and literature to try and get important messages across.

Who we are

Rightful Lives is administered by a group of volunteers…
